WeeGit bullied me into
Twitter. I guess it'll be handy for when I'm working through Issue 3(I plan on approaching Issue 3s online debut differently this time, possibly showing the Issue in smaller more regular chunks). Until then though, probably not a lot going on there besides the occassional random exclaimation or things such as 'Oh lawd I'm stuck in a traffic jam and my car is 100 degrees.'
EXCITING!If you want to follow me or if I should follow you, you'll find me at TWITTER[DOT]COM[SLASH]TWULFSTER, as some

Always the way)
I briefly mentioned
Issue 3 just then, I'm beginning work on the first drafts this weekend so I'll shortly be launching into the all out assault of actually doing the next Issue. Before that though I've to do a lot of concept and ground work so expect concept art and primary designs/tests uploaded here or to my blog. I've decided I should show a lot more of the process behind Felicity and share that as I've had more than a few people ask me how I actually go about it. Aswell as that, I'm thinking of splitting Issue 3 up quite a bit and releasing it as it comes, it'd mean you'd get a lot less but a lot more regularly. What do Felicity readers think?
The rest of the Journal is
Zelda heavy so if you want to leave now I WON'T JUDGE YOU.
So, I was pretty surprised by the reactions and opinions Zelda fans had about the possibility of a female lead in a future installment. In that it seemed to go down pretty well, thanks to the power of Zelda(or perhaps the Triforce)it's actually almost my most faved piece ever. Just behind the
Joker sketch I did, which has had a year to gather those faves up, this piece is barely 5 days old. Crazy!

Reaction has given me confidence to further explore my own Zelda ideas and expand on the story I had behind this Hero. I want to stress again that I didn't set out just to make a 'Female' Link but rather conceptualize a character in the place of Link(through he players eyes)but not a true heir, without the Triforce of Courage. For me one of the most obvious ways to have a Link who wasn't actually
THEE Link was to have a girl.
My story gives a few other reasons why a girl might be the best choice. I've decided to do some more concepts, approaching it as a Fan-Game. Though it may never amount to anything past a bunch of concept art, I've been enjoying it and it's just a bit of fun. I've been working on Tunic concepts to accompany my 'Hero' tunic design. I'll probably make a folder here in my gallery to collect the art as it comes.
Also- the design has inspired custom-action figure creator ~
DarkTailss to make a fully functional figure of my Hero Design! How cool is that? She has a few WIP pics up in in her gallery so keep an eye on it!

Thanks for reading!
Also, I'm now aware I use the phrase 'a lot' all the freaking time. I almost used it again just there! Shizcakes.

Dance, magic cat.
AND. Dude. Don't even just think of "never amount to anything" Imagine. I'm pretty sure Nintendo is scrounging around for more, and fresher game ideas. You never know if one day this idea gets stumbled upon and actually made into real. It would be the most amazing LoZ game yet |D I'm SURE of it.
Just thinking about the possibility has me wiggling in my seat haha~

Actually, this would be cool to see the process behind Felicity, and it'll be awesome to see new concept art, and more of it ! A bit less, but a bit more often ? No problem, it's just fine.
And you know, about your amazing female hero of the Zelda universe, what happened is just what you deserve. I mean if you have so much fun drawing these concepts, imagining a new storyline, and if you really enjoy it : then you have to do it !
Oh, 'bout that, I guess I'll be drawing Hylian Hero someday soon, I just love the concept. How surprising, huh ?
And I wonder if I would follow you on Twitter. Just a thought on its way... :]
