My favorite Batman villain is Harley Quinn. Then probably Clay-face and Man-bat. Funnily enough I think all of those characters were created for 'Batman: The Animated Series' rather than taken from the comics.
What were yours? o:
Growing up, the Batman animated series was the only way I was really exposed to the world of Batman- funny how it's actually viewed now as the most faithful adaptation of the character ever.
If any of you are interested in why/how I did this etc, I should have a post up on my blog tomorrow.
Harley Quinn was created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm and (C) DC Comics. All artwork (C) Adam Law & Crimson Feather Studios 2008.
Cool, though Harley has been added to the comic rogues gallery as well. Clayface and Man-bat are however old Batman villains, I think they're on to their fourth Clayface now.
Yeah, I knew Harley eventually earned her way through and her own comic book line? Didn't know that about Man-Bat and Clay-face though, cool. Somehow a relief to know that I do actually like some 'classic' villains.
Especially Dr Freeze. Their portrayal of him was spot on, giving depth to a character that had always afterwards been little more than a villain with an ice motif. Not to mention his voice was perfect.
Harley Quinn was a very close second for my favourite female villain, Poison Ivy being my first.
This is such beautiful work on this one, the style is excellent. I love the slightly creepy expression. Mildly derranged and full of humour.
I am such an old school Batman fan...the Mr Freeze episode, Harley and Ivy...they all rocked so much.
This is a freakin' epic picture! Her expression is excellent, and I love the way you've coloured her. It's like you've caught her cute insanity perfectly!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
