I've always kind of had a fear of drawing Spiderman; anytime I've tried to draw him in the past it never worked. So, I've never really had a proper go at drawing him since I was a kid(a kid who would draw countless home-grown Spiderman comics every day for a year.)

As I just saw the rebooted "Amazing Spiderman" on Thursday there, figured I'd use todays warm-up to give Spidey a go. So this is my first real attempt in a very long time. So-so results!

I've gone with a cross between elements of his new movie costume and old classic costumes as well as my own ideas.

Here are the initial doodles I did before this sketch.
