Exercises in 'diluting' my design for Zepher to help him fit into a super minimal look I've been composing for Broken Falcon.

His look has varied over the years and the style in which I present him has been both simple and complex.

Trying this look out on each character has been very interesting so far. It's like working in reverse for me- I'm having to narrow down the elements of the characters design so I'm left with everything that makes them work, as opposed to just adding things to help them work.

I did color it, but it looked stronger without the color.

Thanks for lookin'.

I have to be honest man, I much prefer the older stylez. The one on the far left is sorta okay, but in the other ones it kinda looks like he's wearin a weird tracksuit or something. I think you've done a good job like simplificating him, but, I dunno, something about it just doesn't sit right with me. Sorry man, I know that's not very constructive criticism  those are just my random thoughts.

I'm liking how your costume designs don't go for the whole "theme" thing but rather play around with solid shapes. Makes them look more realistic and pleasing to the eye.

Right here I like the use of squares and the marking on his eye.
