Full view pretty vital!

I've recently had to compose a showcase of sorts to demostrate how I'd conduct a comic. I took the opportunity to try out on Magpie, showing a little of her in action and her arch Nemesis Lil'Rabbit.

This was hand drawn, scanned and digitally inked in Photoshop. I've never worked with lineart like this before, certainly not on such a scale- but I learnt alot from it and realized alot of my concerns just didn't have voice in execution. In other words, try things out before you rule them out!

If anyone wants to colour this, let me know first!

FANTASTIC! It's also really nice to see that other people's creator owned superheroes quantify and rank heroes and villians strengths and powers. makes me feel a little less neurotic.

Haha, thanks!
Yeah, it's the Video game logic, eh?

I kind of associate it a lot with anime tropes and such, but it's always been strange that the big publishers don't have that kind of quantification written into their characters that SHOULD use them.

That was WICKED COOL. :D I'd love to see more of Magpie in action, especially against Lil'Rabbit -- bet she's wondering why he's called that when there seems to be nothing "little" about him! The two kids offering her a snack was adorable, and I noticed that guy in the background of panel seventeen taking a video of the chaos with his phone; nice touch. ;) The black-and-white visual was a great idea on such a dramatic scene. To me, it made Rabbit's enormous Joker-grin all the more terrifying. I really hope you continue with more of this little heroine. I think I'll start Watching you to see if she comes up more -- and to get a better look at your other pieces, your gallery seems awesome. :D

WOOHOO! That makes me beyond happy! She's just so little and cute! :XD: I love her super-power, too: telekinesis for the shiny things is perfection. If she ever had a sidekick, he could be called FERRET BOY! I can see it now. :D
