All I'm going to say is this-

I wasn't even close to being a die hard fan of Doctor Who until Steven Moffats Series five; Matt Smith bounding around bandy legged saving the galaxy with whimsical delight, being ever so brilliant. The energy of a child and yet steeped in a painful 900 year history that somehow manages to reveal itself on the face of a man who isn't much older than I am. Karen Gillan with those EYES.

I'm hooked now, I'm a fan. A die-hard fan. Series 5 was simply excellent. The writing is superb, the fiction is rich, the production values are incredible. I even bought the figures which, to quote my brother, "is the ultimate test of how much you like something"

The Doctor is in.

Lastly! David Tennant fans please don't stab me, I thought David Tennant was superb but I simply didn't get into the show.
